How to Ship

Step 1: Collect information for export documentation.

Shipper information, Importer information, Shipping information.

Step 2: Pack and label your shipments.

Label each unit clearly with the shipper and consignee names and addresses.

Step 3: Complete and provide all required export documentation.

Bills of lading completed in full, including customs broker information.

Canada Customs Invoice (CCI) – required for northbound shipments.

Make two copies of the above documents. Provide one to the driver and attach the other set to the shipment and mark as “customs documents”.

The importer’s customs broker will advise if any other documentation is required.

Step 4: Call Reddaway for a pickup and enjoy peace-of-mind.

Name and address of party receiving the shipment.

Country where the goods are grown, produced or manufactured.

Currency of shipment being purchased or sold.

Each item being shipped must be listed separately.

The party clearing the goods on behalf of the importer of record (party paying the duties/taxes to the importing country).

Contact information, including business name, individual’s name, address and phone of party completing the invoice.
